Who are we?
Regional Wholesale Fruit Market Canberra (Regional) is a Canberra based, family owned and operated business that has been supplying the highest quality fruit and vegetables to businesses in Canberra and the surrounding region for over 30 years.
We specialise in providing high quality wholesale produce to meet our customer's needs, whatever they might be. Our customers include convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, hotels, commercial caterers, schools and hospitals. Our services include the supply of fresh fruit, herbs & vegetables, and pre-prepared produce.
Our Story
Brothers Johnny and Jimmy Stamatis opened Regional Wholesale Fruit Market over 30 years ago with a vision to supply Canberra and the surrounding regions with the freshest, highest quality wholesale produce.
Since its opening, Regional has been the premier supplier of fruit and vegetables in Canberra. Supplying a large number of cafes, restaurants, hospitals, schools, nursing homes, caterers, hotels and more; no customer is too big or small!.

Our premises in Beard ACT is a state of the art, purpose built facility for the storage, handling and dispatch of fresh produce. It is the only facility of its kind in Canberra and meets all HACCP and FSANZ industry requirements. All customers are welcome to view our facilities.
We are passionate about supporting local industry and strive to source our products from local growers in order to encourage prosperity in regional farming communities.
During our 30+ years of operation we have built a strong relationships with local and regional growers and produce agents, allowing us draw upon a large network to source quality fruit and vegetables. Because our supply network is geographically dispersed, we are able to source the products our customers need throughout different seasons and climate conditions..
